Our "House of Friends" seeks to embody the values of Aaron: to love all beings and bring them closer to Torah.
Beit Rayim is the only Egalitarian Conservative synagogue in York Region, proudly serving Thornhill, Richmond Hill, Maple and Vaughan.
We are a vibrant congregation with a huge heart that is often praised for our warm, "hamishe" atmosphere and participatory services. Women and men daven side by side, and with the help of our clergy and active volunteers, we read Torah, Haftarah, prepare d'vrei Torah, and can even help lead services.
Beit Rayim is a "House of Friends" where members and guests discover a rich, meaningful connection to Judaism and to community that they had never previously imagined.

Our team is growing!!! We now have nine kind-spirited individuals willing to roll up their sleeves to help others. Yasher Koach!!
Without our volunteers, this initiative would simply not have happened.
As a result of our efforts fifty children, who go to school hungry, are being provided nutritious lunches.
Approximately 4-5 volunteers are needed each week. We start Thursday mornings at 8:30am at E.J. Sand Public School located at 150 Henderson Avenue in Thornhill
