Host Roni or Shahar!
Shinshinim 2017-2018

Meet them here!

By now many of you have gotten to know and love our Shinshinim Lee and Amir. If you haven't, now is your chance! During their year-long stay in Toronto, our Shinshinim are hosted at three different families of Beit Rayim and partnering institutions.

It's hard to believe that three months have passed, but this week they will be moving on to their second host family. We are now seeking homes for their third quarter which takes place from mid-March to mid-June, when they leave for summer camp. While their current families would love them to stay, we encourage them to mix with as much of the community as possible as they pursue

their goals of Israel Engagement.

If you are a Beit Rayim Synagogue member and live north of Steeles, south of Major Mackenzie, east of Dufferin and west of Yonge, and would like more information about this great opportunity, please call the office or email: [email protected]

Maya & GalShinShinim at Beit Rayim!

Maya & Gal
our 2015 - 2016 Shinshinim

This past September, Beit Rayim began its 2nd year as part of the ShinShinim Program. The ShinShinim are a select group of post-high school, pre-army Israelis who are trained and highly skilled to work with Jewish institutions in the diaspora to raise the awareness and pride for Israel. We are very fortunate that Beit Rayim was chosen as a site for the ShinShinim to run their program. The Project is supported by UJA Federation Israel Engagement Shinshinim program.

Check out Maya & Gal's facebook page

The ShinShinim will lead programs every Shabbat, and one evening per week for kids, teens, and adults of all ages at the synagogue. They will lead a very busy life, working at other institutions during weekdays and evenings.

Watch the video below and meet Gal and Maya, who will be joining our Beit Rayim Community this fall.

In September 2014, Beit Rayim embarked on a very exciting project that you and your children will benefit from.

We are very fortunate that Beit Rayim was chosen as a site for the ShinShinim to help us run our programs.

Several GTA Jewish institutions have taken advantage of this program. The reviews are spectacular!

Stay in touch with Ziv and Netanel on their Facebook  page.

Nethanel and Ziv, two dynamic and awesome 18 year olds, joined our Beit Rayim family in 2014-2015. They led programs every Shabbat morning and one evening per week, for kids, teens, and adults of all ages at the synagogue. They led a very busy life, working at other institutions during weekdays and evenings.   They have both returned to Israel to begin their Military service.
