The Chesed team, in conjunction with Beit Rayim leadership, has organized a special volunteer opportunity for members.  We are looking for your support to prepare school lunches for elementary students at E.J. Sand Public School in Thornhill.

Recent studies indicate that one in three children go to school hungry.  Children who go to class hungry have lower energy, concentration, creativity, and problem-solving skills.

Food preparation starts at 8:30am and goes on until 10 to 10:30 am.  The lunches will be distributed by the school staff.

The program will be taking place on Thursday mornings, beginning on November 14, 2024.

Please let us know if you are interested in joining this important and meaningful program. We are certain it will be an enjoyable and rewarding experience for you
