Sharing in your family’s simchas is one of the joys of communal life.
Being called to the Torah as a bar or bat mitzvah is a significant milestone in the life of a Jewish child. At Beit Rayim we are here to support and encourage your child as s/he undertakes to prepare for this momentous occasion.
In addition to providing knowledgeable and nurturing tutors we offer an engaging and interactive program for all b’nei mitzvah students. The program incorporates elements of Social Justice, Tikkun Olam, Tzedakah and other key Jewish values. Students explore their connection to community and their role in modern Jewish life. The Chesed team, in conjunction with Beit Rayim leadership, has organized a special volunteer opportunity for members. We are looking for your support to prepare school lunches for elementary students at E.J. Sand Public School in Thornhill.
Food preparation starts at 8:30am and goes on until 10 to 10:30 am. The lunches will be distributed by the school staff.
The program will be taking place on Thursday mornings, beginning on November 14, 2024.

As colder weather approaches and the fall and winter months are coming close, Ve'ahavta is looking to our community to help with life saving donations that our clients are disparately in need of. |
